Hey here is a great twist on that soup, make it the way it is. But use some miso broth instead of veg. broth. Then add about a half cup or more of tahini for the creamy part, not milk... Use an immersion blender right in the pot and blend a bit leaving it a bit chunky too. also might want a bit of chopped ginger at the beginning....yumma

Caffeine is so hard to quit, but what motivated me, was the effects it was having on my baby! We thought he was colicky. After researching further, the same colic symptoms come from too much caffeine in a baby’s system! It is said that babies only get 1.6% of the mother’s caffeine intake through breast milk. If you put that in terms of THEIR body weight, that’s significant! There was a study that proved that it takes 97 hours for infants to metabolize caffeine! That was enough for me! I quit caffeine and it took about a week to see the improved sleep habits of my little guy! Totally worth it!

Alana, I am also plant based for several years, but get awful bloating regularly, aka, food baby. In the morning, my tummy is pretty darn slim, but by late morning and afternoon, I look 4-6 months preggers?! Do you have any specific tips and tricks around this, and perhaps make a video on it? Love your videos always, big hugs to the ohana!

I have been reading more about food combining. I have also read and looked at videos where they mention eating mostly fruit in the morning and all other thinks in the afternoon. Perhaps you can look into that and see what May help.

All that meal preparation, meal planning, meal making is considering you don't have a job or that it is the weekends. Other than that, trying doing this Monday through Friday with a full time job, good luck. Wish we had Andrew Yang as president because I can utilize his UBI (universal basic income) program and take my sweet time shopping/preparing plant based meal all day long without the worry of time and money. And yes, living organic whole plant based foods does not cost a lot despite what the critics says. Cost me about $130 month.
