Also just a note on the veganism, it might be hard at resorts in Fiji but in main cities/town you should find something. I'd suggest Indian restaurants and ask for no ghee or they will always have dal. There is a Fijian dish called roro which is just taro leaves and coconut milk, its also naturally vegan. When I go back I usually manage :)

I had a pinguecula starting to grow on my R eye and did not want surgery, I gave myself a year to try to make it better, I went to an ayurvedic doctor, (after talking to many alternative style doctors) and she prescribed a treatment for my eye that included thick herbal drops in my eye 3 times a day for 6 months and diet changes. It started working, I did stay away from the sun in the middle of the day and got some dorky glasses with side protection. After about a year it's almost all gone. There is hope, but its a lot of work. Worth it though. Good luck!

Eye surgery is scary but it’s over SO fast and eyes heal very fast. Just do it! I put mine off for years because I was scared and my only regret is not doing it sooner. It’s a few days of being uncomfortable while your eye heals and then you’re good to go!! Most docs will give you medication to help with nerves during the surgery and a few pain meds for the days after. Do it!

All of the major towns have Hare Krishna restaurants, but they do use dairy. It won't be terribly hard, though, as there is a significant population of vegetarians here.

Why would you want to be vegan when you live in the ocean. Seafood has the best set of minerals great for your body
@mikeuptegrove Жыл бұрын
Last time you were in Indo you were eating highly processed Oreos and Pringles in the name of veganism. That was scary. Thank God Jack eats eggs, they’re the most nutrient dense form of protein, with a complete amino profile, one can eat. Unless they’re cooked in toxic vegetable or seed oils. The vegan lifestyle will keep you on a treadmill for life, and you’ll never out exercise, via your metabolic function, all the plant defense chemicals you’re accumulating on that diet. You should be looking into: phytic acid, isothiocyanates, tannins, lectins, and oxalates. That’s what you’re loading into your body in mega doses. Plus, by definition, plant fiber is indigestible. Not sure why anyone would want to eat anything that isn’t maximally absorbed. Indigestible fibers just house: bacterial overgrowth issues, and parasites. What’s worse, is all the above aforementioned plant defense chemicals are in the indigestible fiber and eating them basically forces your colon to be exposed to them. That’s why people get colon cancer. PS, the over consumption of fruit leads to pancreatic cancer. That’s exactly how Steve Jobs died. He was a fruitarian.
@lukebeerls3164 Жыл бұрын
You are correct ,meat is the only food you can live of solely it's super food , there's test out there that they have done on Vegan people and they are definitely not as healthy as the meat eaters they lack lots of amino acids a balanced diet is best ,lots of meat eggs and fruit and little vegetables
@mikeuptegrove Жыл бұрын

@@natbarron you can only lead a horse to water, you can’t make it drink. They have some followers that follow based on the false virtue of a diet that they believe is sustainable and ethical, but is actually neither. But because of that and ego they have to stick to it despite it being super not healthy at all. You always see Alana busting ass doing all these crazy exercises and struggling just to maintain her metabolic health. She doesn’t realize how easy she’d be ripped and carrying zero extra weight if she stopped poisoning herself with indigestible plants and constantly exposing herself to all the plant defense chemicals. Her eye issue looks to me like oxalate dumping. Her body is so loaded with oxalate from her extremely poor diet that it’s literally purging the oxalates that have no other place to go. Likely, all her tissues are already loaded so densely with oxalates they’re finding the easiest exit, her eyes. Even if she switched her diet now and wised up, my guess is, she’s done so much harm, she’d be purging oxalates for a decade yet. But, she’d still be better off than destroying herself at a cellular level with oxalates. Like I said, you can only lead a horse to water, you can’t make it drink. I doubt she’ll even read this and then look into the aforementioned so she can help herself. The bandwagon diet and her youth got her fame and hubris is a BEACH. I know if she stopped doing what’s ahead doing, she’d have the body and energy she wants with zero effort. No more trying to put workout her shite diet. But what can you do?
