The Westfalia Kepler One is a tiny VW camper with toilet, shower + kitchen. With a length of only 530cm, the Kepler One has the footprint of a car whilst offering a fully contained camper van. In my opinion, the Kepler One makes an interesting choice of dual use car plus camper although it comes at a cost in excess of EUR80k.

A toilet is essential for a 'real' camper and the spec of this VW is good. BUT.....what I would like to see is a modular design that is used across vehicles. That means a consistent design concept rather than a series of unique vehicles. For example, a bench seat that goes across the back blocks the access to the rear and I find that a real pain on my T4 Syncro California when away for long trips.

I own a 2023 Kepler One. Your informative review helped me to decide. I'm sorry to say that I REGRET spending over 100,000 Euros on my van. The main complaint is Westfalia (Rapido) "support." This company is TRULY AWFUL. Try getting them to assist you in mounting an awning to the idiotic French railing/rain gutter. They actually seem to enjoy stringing you along in French as they have with me for almost a year. Also: the pop up roof is smaller and shorter than a California and the actual VW Transporter is not as nicely appointed (especially the air conditioning) as a California. I strongly suggest that potential buyers proceed with caution.

Thank you for the tour! These small vans are great if you want to use them as a car every day. Toilets and shower are a bonus in such a small footprint when you go away. Sleeping 4 is ok if 2 are children, as long as the weather is warm of course. Is the Ford Nugget still available as a Nugget+ with the permanent high roof? By the way, it is a new Nugget because it is on the new Ford Transit Custom base. The kitchen area is a bit different to the old one too...

the rear shower and toilet definitely good, and on this platform they shouldnt have beds for 4...the vans are too small

I presume the tent is standard as otherwise one cannot stand up very well in the vehicle. Admittedly, I did not check.

@@VanlifewithAlan and tent is fine...but i wouldnt bother with making the lower bit a bed as well. there are otehr vans that you cant stand up in that are fine for some people...
