Alanis, I just saw my DVR of your performance. BLOWN AWAY! Then I listened to the other Alanis perform her own song. The way you performed that song on stage, I teared up. How can someone your age do that like someone as seasoned as the other Alanis. You sang it with such conviction... Oh my goodness... AMAZING... A SHOWSTOPPER! You even look like the other Alanis when she was your age. You just might win this whole thing. Congratulations!

Not a fan of this show. This song came into my life quite late knowing who Alanis is and her powerful presence. It was honestly by accident and became one of the top twenty songs that really shakes the soul. So, any time someone dares to take on the challenge of covering this song it's very intriguing. The reaction from the "judges" is one reason why shows like these are very unappealing. This young woman sprinkled a little of her own seasoning onto an amazing song with exceptional results. If Alanis would have known this up and coming star was going to perform this song for her mother's love and gratitude for Alanis' message through music and angelic vocals, guarantee she would have been there with wet eyes, her immense smile, and a blanketing embrace at the end for her and her mother since she would have made sure she would be there as well.

Who does she think she is, Frank Sinatra? He sometimes changed or left out words; for example, in *The Lady Is a Tramp* , the line is, "She gets too hungry for dinner at eight. That's why the lady is a tramp." He sometimes sang it "She gets hungry for dinner at eight...", completely changing the meaning, but he liked the rhythm better.
