I don't think they play this as you walk in anymore. I'm not sure if it plays near closing time though.

They play the bit that says "the rides, the shows, the fun, the thrill" etc as you walk in but that's it. Also, it doesn't play around closing time. Instead, they now play Utopian by The Notable Stranger which was composed for their 2019 Hot Ice show Utopian, which is a far better soundtrack than this!

It's one of the Pleasure Beach's theme tunes, however it's rarely heard at the park anymore. It was originally used in their show, South Beach Musical, in 2008.

Melanie Baker It was more-so the lyrics I dislike about the song, not really the singing. I don't like how it's just "spend your money spend you money". I think I overreacted a bit with that comment when I written it 2 years ago. I love this song but also hate it at the same time.

Have you ever played RollerCoaster Tycoon? Or - Planet Coaster (the new version). Blackpool is a theme park owned by generations of the same family - not bought up by corporations - Amanda Thompson is in charge - and has overseen the business now, this iconic park, for at least 15 years. She's kept everything running - safely - and has been saving up loads of cash to make "Icon" - a Mack inverter with Europe's first ever double-launch. But - publicity and advertising are often how you win a game of RollerCoaster Tycoon :) ... this cheesy effort is really catchy and memorable. Job done.
