Also what a fantastic genre to collect.I mean it’s expensive but the artwork and many coloured vinyls is incredible as are many of the soundtracks that you maybe miss just because film is primarily ‘visual if you see what I mean..The music and film become standalone.so then the music can always have a separate life from it’s associated film ,at least for the less well known films ...This for instance , sounds like a Floyd album , or at least one they should have made or followed as a musical direction...

Nice sounding set up!I'd like to produce some videos of albums like you are doing, but I'm looking for the simplest, cheapest way to do so. I saw that you used your iPhone for the video, which is what I was wanting to do. How did you get a stereo recording to the phone? I found some adapters that would simply allow me to use the mic input right out of my source line out, but it will be in mono.Any suggestions on a tight budget?

I record on phone. Then use a USB deck to rip the audio. In iMovie I detach audio from the original video and then add the recorded vinyl from iTunes. I then save and upload. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I haven't used iMovie yet, but now I have a reason to... :-) I think the only way I have to make a stereo track through a usb right now is audacity, but I don't really like it. Maybe because I haven't used it much. At least I have an idea as how to go about it. Thanks again.
