I love it when everyone on the grid is having fun and not taking themselves too seriously. Drivers and celebs alike. And who cares if the celebs know nothing about f1? Everyone starts somewhere. Just dont be stuck up or act like you’re better than everyone else, and at least pretend that you’re not just there for sponsorship commitments

He said if he's going to commentate on the races, he wants to commentate live on every race of the season. He couldn't do that with the BBC. He's got a point too, I wouldn't want to commentate on footage where I already know the result and have to act surprised if a crash happens.

Ecclestone always took the piss. I remember one time Brundle was doing his grid walk and Bernie pops up beside him out of nowhere, pointing to a guy a few feet away saying "look, there's the Prime Minister of Turkey!". Brundle then runs across and sticks the mic in front of this guy who looks completely bewildered. Turned out it was just some random dude!
