Love the color palette used in this one. It is very much like two oil paintings I have. I will be giving this one a go tomorrow.

Hi. What colors do you have in your palette? Thanks in advance.
@phyllisjfawcett3 ай бұрын
@@MelkamMengued I use the 16 color James Fletcher-Watson Palette. Cad Lemon & Yellow, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Light Red, Indian Red, Rose Madder, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean Blue, French Ultramarine, Winsor Blue (red shade) & Payne’s Gray. Many painters have Yellow Ocher as well but I have finally learned enough to mix colors to match mixes being used. When is first started following Mr. Allen would just seamlessly mix colors and I had no idea what to do. I never quite understood until I bought one of James Fletch-Watson’s books. His earlier books he uses a 12 color palette and later adds Cobalt & Cerulean blues. Hope that answers your question. FYI, Watson does have a Mixology guide in his book. I still look at my mix charts for color matching when I get ready to paint. If you are new to watercolor, I strongly recommend doing this first. I was not able to keep up until I did this and practiced enough mixing to keep up. I still aspire to be able to paint as seamlessly as Mr. Alan one day.

Came back to say I've been working at watercolours everyday and today I finally tried painting along with this video! My result wasn't nearly half as amazing as yours of course, but I had so much fun! Thank you for making this!
