I got mine a few weeks ago and its a very beautiful bird in real life pics and videos don't show it's details , plus it flies incredible for its size . Turns and flips are locked in and silky smooth. I might get a second . It makes my protos 380 evo feel old.

4:25 very smooth and i like how you cork screw it tighter and tighter. Is this maneuver called a funnel?
@LichaelMewis Жыл бұрын
2:31 what is this loop type maneuver called? And what is it called when you transitioned out of it? The helicopters main shaft and swash was flying horizontal to the ground which makes it seem to defy gravity. Both cool maneuvers.

Hi Alan from Spain, in your opinion wich heli is better or wich one do you prefer, Align Tb40 or Align 470LM?please let me know, i would like an answer from a profesional pilot like you, best regards.
@alanszabojr8 ай бұрын
It depends on the type of flying you are doing. The TB40 is the ultimate overall peromace machine and is great for hovering to hard 3D. If you are learning I would probably go with the 470LM as it a little more simple to build and possibly parts could be cheaper as it is an outgoing model.
@VipiModel-nk3ce8 ай бұрын
Thanks for your reply Alan i appreciate your help, im not learning, i fly helis yesrs ago but i dont know how good is the new tb40 mechanics with motor belt drive so for me is important your opinion cause you fly both models and you are an expert pilot, thank you so much my friend and Greetings from Canary Island Spain

4mins of flight, is cool with 1450mAh. What are your impressions about this new generation?
@alanszabojr Жыл бұрын
I pushed it a touch long on that pack. I'd recommend a slightly larger pack for a true 4min of 3D. So far it's feeling good. It's nice and quiet in comparison to the older models.

Alan, are you using any FF or Acc.gain in the cgy760 Rudd section to stop tail kick out on collective pumps?

I am using 10% That number will change depending on the head-speed and the amount of collective your using so the % could be different for others

Hi Alan, I’m tempted to try the TB40. At 2750 RPM at what percentage on the transmitter that translate to? I have 16IZ also. Thanks Alan
@alanszabojr7 ай бұрын
I have it at +76% Futaba numbers.
@scrc5117 ай бұрын
@@alanszabojr Thanks Alan, appreciate it. With my other Heli, numbers are very close. I typically don’t run pass 80% as I read somewhere a while back that percentage on Futaba’s will read at a lower value but translate to higher than Spectrum. Good flying as always my friend.

However long this video is so like 4 minutes. If you don't fly aggressive 3D you can probably get around 6-7 minutes of flying.

great little machine. i reckon that'll be the one for me the next time im feeling rich! I'd be wanting to mount a FPV camera on it, and then just fly level and slow (compared to that LOL) whats the range on this equipment?

@robbynelson3 Жыл бұрын
So what's the difference between this and the previous generation?
@alanszabojr Жыл бұрын
Major differences in the motor drivetrain. Instead of a direct motor to main gear setup this has a belt gear reduction system that makes it a lot quieter than the older models.

Do you prefer this heli over the 470LM?
