Hi! I've just finished my 2nd year's final semester with less than minimum knowledge and with a lot of contempt. I'm presently in an engineering college where no DSA, DAA, COA, or DISCRETE MATHEMATICS classes have taken place in the second year, nor have any practical classes, and our faculties are unconcerned about it. So what should I do now if I want to build my concept and consequently appear GATE with knowledge and confidence?

@@d_as24 , Start Studying!!! If you are planning to prepare for GATE then start preparing for it from good resources. If you can afford, consider taking GO Classes. If you can't, you can anyways study from free standard resources.

​@@sh3lter, Just follow the lectures and forget about books for now. No need to make notes if you are not getting enough time. Make watching the lectures your top priority followed by PYQs , tests and simultaneous revision of previous topics. If some topic seems tough, try harder. If it still seems hard even after a week of trying your best then skip it for now and come back after a 1 or 2 months. Try to finish your syllabus by November end with this strategy and you are good to go.

@@taufikshekh4431 , Gen: AIR 67 till the 5th round EWS: AIR 181 Obc AIR 239 SC AIR 1.5k something ST AIR 2.5k something I didn't get IITB because I was Gen and AIR 120

Congratulations alapan, this interview boost my confidence, due to job, me also watching the lecture and as a notes using annotated notes but in backend the mind one -ve thought was running ki mai self notes nhi bana raha to nov- dec ke time kaise revision krenge fastly but now i feel my way is also good because you are secured good rank in same way. Could you list some novels which you used to read to relax

Most of the time I used to read short stories due to some serious time constraints. Among novels, I have read a handful of them across all genres during my GATE prep. Comedies like "Three Men In a Boat" and "The Pickwick Papers" have been some great reads which helped me dealing with stress.
