As an Israeli, I found this fascinating, and several levels ahead of the Al Jazeera propaganda channel. We know in Israel the horrific treatment that our prisoners received in Syria 50 years ago, to imagine that people have suffered like that for years is horrific. Let us hope that the decent people of Syria are allowed to create something good out of this event, which was very much enables by Israel hitting Iran's proxies for six, and Turkey's support.

The Turkish guy was blabbering nonesense for the last half of the interview. Turkey occupies a territory 3 times the size of the West Bank, in Syria. It complains about some land take from the 70s after Israel had to take defensive positions on the Golan Heights, overlooking the entire country putting it under range of artillery. Meanwhile, Syria built there the biggest mine field in the region making it uninhabitable. So what's the argument. How dare Israel, as it defended against Syrian attack, take over a mine field and artillery positions used against it, qnd not give it back to the blood thirsty Assad regime that still vows the inhalation of Israel. Take your Turkish propoganda somehwere else.

All 6 countries with Kurds should give up some land to make a Kurd Homeland Country - historically it would make sense - borders made by colonial powers after WWI should be reconsidered & decided by people native to each region
