Thank you for this demo. I had to use this video last night to help my husband as he was driving a school bus for the first time. While he was away with the school bus, he noticed this alarm that kept going off, and he thought that the only way to keep it from going off was to keep the key in the ignition. While talking to him, I was thinking that meant something else. So, as I was searching, I came to a website that told me it was possible to disarm the alarm, and your video helped explain how to shut off the alarm. I heard that same noise on your video on his bus and knew that was what it was. Long story short, I helped him to where he would not have to leave the keys behind.

The horn starts beeping and the outside lights start flashing until you reset it. It’s embarrassing lol

It should if you have the key turned. If it doesn't, get your mechanic to look at it. Disconnecting the battery would work as a temporary solution. Occasionally we will have a bus where we can't get the alarm to stop.

Some buses u just open the rear emergency door to shut it down same procedure just no button.
