As a financial industry professional, this guardianship issue is flat out sad. I’ve seen elderly people get taken advantage of and their bank accounts drained dry.

It's a legal theft racket, with many players, a symbiotic system of predatory doctors, psychiatrists, housing/care facilities, judges, attorney's, guardians/conservators, family. This is what I deem legal kidnapping, or human trafficking at It's most disrespectful.

It's happening in Pennsylvania too, my mom & I have been fighting the Gardianship for a year and half, the judge decided the exact following morning of the hearing, there's been a second hearing and now this Gardian is harnessing me. I had a mini stroke TIA over the summer. This decision shaved time off of my mom, I've had to contact elder abuse hotline to report nursing care abuse and abuse/neglect from the Gardian. I don't know whatvto do next. I'm terrified for my mom. My sister passed from C V in 2021 & my dad passed 6 years ago she & I are all we have.

My wife's aunt has been asking the conservator over her parents' money for invoices or accounting, but they won't provide it. She showed us 2 emails in which a "case mgr" from the conservatorship co claims to have "tried to go by (their house) once a month". We're worried that the case mgr is billing monthly even though, in reality, she has been by their house exactly 3 times in 2 years and there are no texts or emails or phone calls indicating that she tried to come by any other time. My wife's aunt is her parents' full-time unpaid caregiver and her parents aren't allowed to use THEIR OWN money to hire an attorney to find out what they're being billed.

Each time there is a guardian appointed, there should be an amount of the guardians money held in trust if they defraud, the person in their trust and care.

👨‍⚖️ ~ It takes a jury to even put you in jail for one year for a misdemeanor charge. Many states allow you to even have a jury in a speeding ticket. But you have your children taken away in a custody case or have your parental rights removed takes only a judge in many states. And have you locked away in a guardianship case for 30 years and have all your money taken from you is only by a single judge. If the founding fathers knew how guardianship cases would have came about in the future then they would have made it clear that they are covered by a jury as well.d
