NEW* Strategy (clickbait explanation): This isn't so much a new build order as a new style of aggressive Protoss. Usually aggressive Protoss are focused on just mass gateway units, but Nightmare really leans heavily on tech like Colossus/Storm instead of Warp Prism backstabs/runbys. Higher risk but higher reward in my opinion, and makes for extra entertainment ;)

That phoenix control in game 1 is probably some of the best I’ve ever seen. So active but also so willing to dive to pick up marines and marauders to keep momentum. And then getting those widow mine lifts in that clumped fight outside his bases is insane

Tbh I feel like the games didnt fall apart because of the widow drops, but Nightmare shouldn't have gone for templar. His early robo-pushes were absolutely the way to go, and the sentries put so much work in as far as keeping his army alive.

Did you know "mirror neurons" are a real thing? Meaning you have neurons in your head that activate when you watch someone else do something? So if you're watching someone pick up a box, the neurons you use when you pick up a box might start firing off despite the fact you aren't picking up the box. Unfortunately they don't turn us into psychic beings like you'd think they would. They seem to be there to help us learn how to function from other humans, but that's lame. I wanna cast Psystorm irl, damn it!😭

Why don't Protoss ever start an off center pylon (so just a little North or South of where the second supply depot would be) in the Terran wall to make it so they can't wall till far later? I'm confident there is a reason, but I don't know it.

They do very rarely. But it’s because that costs 100 minerals while they need those minerals for a cyber core and an expo, not worth the delay.

Terrans are soooo inba. Even small group or marines can just kill entire mineral line in line 6-8 seconds and then preety solidly stand up to stalkers. Dmg output difference is too big for such an universal unit.

Why in 99.99% of cases where you have a title that say "best ultimate unreal X race strategy", that race loses? I mean, I do like your videos and commentary and I am a subscriber, but I just know before I watch the video who will win which makes it less enjoyable that it could have been. It is just my opinion. I hate most toss (Reynor showed that they can be fun to watch, while a couple others are nice enough that I usually root for them), but those first 2 games are worth it If the title was something about Byun in a TvP I would have probably skipped the series Don't get me wrong, when they put a clickbait and the "crazy strategy you wouldn't believe X used" loses I lose my marbles too. Who cares about a crazy strat that loses? In the immortal words of that guy "If your opponent is doing something weird, go fucking kill 'em". That's the expected outcome, no need to point that game out. But here the different approach worked, and was very nice to watch on top of it... Shame he fumbled the mine drop in game 3 (had to pause after that, it was too much D: ) Also, until I read the comments I thought that Nightmare was gonna win the last game with whatever prompted that thumbnail, so he would have surprised me at least :P
