We stayed at cabin 27 in Hueston Woods one of the weekends filming was going on. Right up from the 33 I saw in this preview. Saw lots of crew, equipment, signs and the vehicles they drove around in the woods were all parked at the marina. Sadly didn't catch Stallone, Eastwood or actual filming going on .

I'll put Samaritan a side, that thing works IF you're 13 or under and/or you never saw Sly in such a roll. And THE best and only GREAT part of that movie was Sly delivering the I'm the bad guy line, that... Shit... Was phenomenal! The guy had what, 5 words and nothing but his voice and face to give us a performance, and it's the kind of Sly we NEVER saw before, the MF got darker then Rambo 5 for a few seconds. Escape plan I'd argue is a GREAT B film, Sly was the passive lead BUT he gave Arnold all the best stuff, best lines, Arnold's funny but he was probably never funnier. The movie was a fkn blast man. How the F didn't you like it ?

Clint Eastwood said not so long ago in an interview that people speak of an an-screen team up with his son Scott. Then he added - and I paraphrase - that, "well, lets see a script first". OK, so Eastwood Snr is no spring chicken any more but he is the legend that he is and if really wanted to do something in a concerted way with his son, he could easily have a thriller script written for the two where the former would not have to do much yet he's there on-screen in a less of a physical manner where Scott comes into play with the action with "dad" pulling the final strings of the plot. It can still be done - something on the line of the father kidnapped and the son coming to the rescue, but then dad pulls the final trigger as it were on the baddies. Ah, a wish come true movie as I would just love to see Eastwood one more time playing the kind of role he always has but to suit his age.
