I watch a family on KZbin in Alaska. They just made jelly from fireweed. They also said when the fireweed plant blooms all the way to the top, they are supposedly six weeks away from the first snow. What a beautiful trip you had. Good for you.

Just so wonderful to see both the Alaska videos!!! The part 1 video caught my attention and that is how I discovered your family, etc. and since that one, I have enjoyed following your various adventures. I have been in the areas of Alaska you showed on the videos. My parents took me via a camper to Alaska 6 times. The first trip I was 3 1/2 yrs old. The next time I was almost 13. The last trip was in 1988. The videos brought back wonderful memories for me! My dad passed in 1992 and my mom just passed in Jan, so the videos are very meaningful for me to see!! It's such a wonderful place to see God's beautiful creation! I'm so glad you could be there and share your trip!! God Bless you and your family!! 🤗

I felt like I was there! Breathtakingly beautiful! I would love to see it again. When Joas went Wade fishing in his street clothes, it reminded me of myself enjoying the freezing, misty air on a cruise ship. So exciting and too wonderful to give up. It didn’t serve me well, so I’m glad the cold water caused no ill effects for him. Thanks for sharing.
