Camped in the woods one night at your bear spot. Had a bear come in all night long. Just kept putting more wood on the fire but he was coming. right up to the corner of the tent. No sleep that night bad place to camp next to the thick woods.

I’ve caught literally hundreds of pinks in that river . Fished it twice. Had to leave go out on float planes for coho or Kings. For me tough river. My least productive for some reason know others who have caught big fish.

Kenia River is all about timing the runs which happen quickly. Many believe even numbered years are best for pink numbers. We were raised on fresh saltwater pinks which make excellent smoked fish or used for canning. Thanks for watching Patrick!
