I know this is an older video. But I need to say thank you. Why? Well, because from 24:50-26:18, I got to virtually revisit my old home. That I have not seen in 21 years. I lived on Eielson AFB, which is just south of North Pole by a few miles. So that whole stretch was a daily thing for me to see. But man..... that wasn't just a place where I lived for a while. That whole area was where I lived during the best years of my life. So great that I tell everyone I ever really talk to they have to visit the place. Not just to see it.... no. But to feel it. That whole land just feels.. Raw. Pure. Free. Even with modern technology (per the 90's and likely even today), it was perfect. I've lived the rest of my life in the southern half of the USA. And you can imagine the costly endeavor of going back would be difficult at best. So just to even see a place that I still hold so near and dear.... means a lot. So thank you.

If I were on a road trip that was almost 5000km, I wouldn't want to be stuck behind the slower moving trucks for very long either. Being by yourself on the open road is much more freeing and a better experience.

OwnageCubed was a bad day. Most of days in summer are either sunny as all heck or overcast. Rain couple days a month... except when it’s the rainy season

Why did you take this video down yesterday?
@007craft7 жыл бұрын
One of the songs in it was flagged by KZbins content ID system. It was another Tobu song, like many in the video, which is free to use. What happened was somebody else made a shitty remix which used the corus of the free song (Which they are allowed to do) but now Content ID is flagging the original song as Copyright, coming from that remix (and my video had no part of that remix at all in it). Essentially the way the system works is you get a copyright infringement notice on your account you can dispute it. To dispute, it sends a notice to those people claiming copyright, NOT youtube. They then have 30 days to reply, in which they could very well not reply and your claim may be auto rejected and further action will be necessary. Even if you managed to get the false claim removed, it will take at least a month and in the meantime the entire videos ad revenue would goto the claimant with no way of you to recover it. Not exactly fair at all. Even tho I was in the right, it was easier for me to pull the video, replace the song and reupload it in around 5 hours, much faster than waiting around for a month with somebody else wrongfully profiting off my work. Especially when the music in this video is nothing specific to it, and I only added what I did because I thought the tracks sounded alright and were free (I specifically took lots of time to hunt down free music). I used another Tobu track as a replacement and it was fine. Ive learned a lesson from this and devised a new system which I tested to work. Basically for each future video I have with music in it, Ill upload just the audio (with a placeholder picture) as a private video and it will be flagged right after upload if any false claims are made by Content ID. I can then edit the actual video you guys will see to have a different song before I upload, so this won't happen again. At the same time I can dispute the copyright on my private dummy video to ensure that particular song is freed up from the Content ID systems improper matching so people in the future can use that song as they should, and not get false claims.

Why did you decide to ruin your video with this music? Don't you understand that anyone who wants to listen to music will play what they like. I wish this video was uploaded with the original sound.
