This will be truly boring for most folks unless you're interested in Walmart and/or GoPro Camera quality. If nothing else you can see some prices from an Anchorage Alaska Walmart. I used my GoPro 2 HD Hero camera on a chest mount with a 1080p 30fps setting.

14:49... I used to work in retail and couldn't stand it when people messed up a shelf and wouldn't take that two seconds to put something back the way they found it.

NOTE to all you lower 48ers, ANCHORAGE prices do not reflect the majority of Alaska, unless you live in Anchorage you are paying about twice the price because all shipments go to Anchorage then to final destinations. Also the only produce that is cheaper is from foreign countries that may use harmful pesticides.
@AlaskaJohn

This Walmart store looks nearly completely the same like the ones we had in Germany from 1997 - 2006. Even the shelves and how they are stocked looked the same. The Walmart stores in Germany were a little bit smaller. But what is great on this place? The stores looks like a shoddy warehouse. Nothing is neatly decorated, Everything looks so plain. I have once bought freezer bags from their store brand Great Value. They were the crappiest freezer bags I have ever seen, so flimsy. Walmart in Germany was a completely disaster. After the 9 years they left Germany. It's estimated that they have made 3 billions Euro's loss during this time. I can't understand why Walmart is so successful in the U.S.

Sebastian Urbas Well I don't speak for all Americans but generally I would say we don't care about how nice a store looks as long as we can get cheap prices. There are a lot more people in the US and we need things quick, cheap, and in bulk to feed all the people.

When was this filmed? If its winter then our prices will be high since the growers move their operations to Arizona. You may also have Mexican produce which is much cheaper than ours. Was cool to see though.

Another great video, John! Its 11:30 0n June 2, so in 30 minutes I'll be 59. Due to this fact, I'll be receiving checks from various family members, and w/ that added income I'm going to see if I can purchase a GoPro of my own, and start making my own vids. Prices are a bit higher in AK, but that won't deter me; I still wanna live there.

It was crazy crowed, Malone, NY Wal Mart is like the one John is in. Prices at Alaska John's Wally World is no different than in NY. I just moved to South Carolina and prices are on the rise, so it really is no different. The only cheap thing here is gas and cigarettes. The south is becoming as expensive as the north.
