I hope they get the mirror situation sorted out. I do not use them unfortunately, because of how bad they look. Two things that would improve the experience right now, would be to fix mirrors and in cab indicators. I want to go no HUD, but nope. Great vid!👍😊

Yeah, the mirror stuttering can get a bit annoying for sure! Those are a few things I'd like to see changed as well. Have you had any luck finding the gas station? I still haven't come across one yet that I couldn't get into. I am working on a video where I will be visiting every one of them, but it's a process that'll take me a while to get through

Something that blew my mind was I bought a 15 speed truck but it only has 9 gears

It has to do with the gears actually being split in game like it would be on a truck. Only you really don't need them the way the game is currently laid out. Maybe they have a plan for it to make a little more sense in the future. I can see what they're trying to do, hopefully it'll be implemented in a better way in the future.

Followed the progress of this when it was first announced on steam. Participated in the beta. So happy to see what it has come to, to this day. And they plan to keep fixing and adding. Living in North Dakota, I love driving in the winter. Scary as hell. But it’s nice to drive in game where I’m safe. 😅

I’ve been playing since it got released on steam. I didn’t get the chance to play the beta version. They have done a ton to improve this game over the last year! I grew up driving in Colorado, so I enjoy the snowy weather driving as well! It’s nice to be able to do it in the safety of the game. I get to be a bit more reckless lol

I started watching your series content when I learned it was coming to console. I am a Snowrunner addict but wanted a change & always wanted to try these truck sims. My excitement soon came to an end when I played it on my Xbox series S, however I was always looking for an excuse to upgrade to the series X... The graphics are so much better & it can now be enjoyed. I have played 24 in-game hrs & have similar progression to you, I also started on Legend as I like a challenge, at the moment I am debating whether to invest my personality points into the cold bonus as the fuel is not that hard to manage, the workshop upgrade I am saving for the 3rd tier repair as the suspension damage I am getting is killing my bank balance. I love your content & will continue to follow your progress & thank you for some of the tips you have provided as they have come in very handy... however I cannot find the free coffee & sandwich in prudhoe bay so maybe it has been removed. looking forward to more content in the future.

I can’t really say that the scenery is really any good on console. Due to the fact they released the game at 30 FPS and with a lot of bugs

I know it really gets to some people that it’s 30 FPS, hopefully they come out with video options to make it better. I can tell you the dev team is on top of working on bugs, they want the game to be amazing. They already rolled out a hot fix over the weekend and are working on more. Issue: changing skins in the truck store leads to a hard crash on PlayStation 5 Hotfix: this crash should no longer occur when browsing or changing skins. The concept of the game is definitely what I enjoy the most as well. Knowing it’s a small dev team, I give leeway to some quality aspects. It would be awesome to combine this game with snow runner graphics!

I’m having a bug where the old exhaust stacks and visor are clipping through the new ones I put on at the shop. It’s really annoying and kind of ruining the game for me after grinding so long to get my new truck.

Is there any tips on how to get skill points fast for the mechanical skill, or any tips in general for game?

I think I’m going to work on a video for getting xp today and get it up in the morning hopefully. As far as raising your mechanical xp quickly, the fastest way is to intentionally damage your truck, then fix it repeatedly. 42 hours in on console and im having a blast. Sure some issues but the dev team has brought an awesome trucking game to console finally. I got the second level of the workshop and went to repair the radiator and it ga e me the option to replace for 800 bucks. Im like uh no thanks i just want to repair lol. I do hate how once in the workshop you cannot open any menus or anything. Ive also repaired a lot on my truck in that entire 42 hours and have somehow only used 1 toolkit from the set of 3. Im curious what triggers its use.

It really is aggravating only being able to replace things inside the shop. I wish there was an option. As far as toolkits, I think they’re only used when repairing the actual engine. In stores all around the map there’s a clothing rack. Different stores will carry different jackets. Hope this helps

My favorite part of the game is when MS allows lazy developers to sell their sub-par crap on their platform, and then deny a refund request in support of said developer. The XBox version is terrible, and should have been called pop-in simulator.

It’s not in the game yet. I believe there’s talk about it possibly at some point. They want to make the game mechanics better first.
