I did Artist Alley at this con this year (2018) and their turn out was terrible. Lots of fairly well known artists, and still only had like 300 attendees throughout all three days the con went on. Even though it was fairly large, they charged almost $200 for their tables, and there were like 50 artists + vendors. There were people packing up and leaving on day two. Was a total wreck. A lady from another booth said she complained to the staff, and apparently they got snappy with her and told her that she "just obviously didn't have the right kind of merch for the audience," when it definitely was, and there was just no one to buy stuff. Was super bad

I was actually supposed to attend this year, but didn't. My sister was selling in the artist alley, along with my friends Skye and Ayn, and they said the same. Terrible turn out. I don't think any of them made back what they spent on the table (not to mention travel, supplies, ect.)

@@alastaircasey8672 I know I didn't. A lot of the time I saw other artists wandering around, cause they were bored, and there was just nothing to do. As far as I know, only a couple of people made table back. Which really sucks. Even staff was just kind of bumming around. I don't believe we were supposed to bring in outside food/drink, but it was stupid easy for me to bring food in for lunch. Anyone with a random lanyard could have walked in like "yeah I totally paid." If they had that same 'victimized by the Voltron fandom' jar, I do remember that booth :>
