3:31 actually, the model isn't dead. Sinners are basically immortal in hell. You can be ripped apart, eaten alive, blown up and you'll just respawn in the most painful way possible. The only way to kill them is with weapons made with angelic steel like the exterminators use

I think "tearing their soul apart" actually kills them for good tho...so Alastor can do that, for example, the Overlords he got rid of are nowhere to be found.

@@richardkutsera4992 i think that has something more to do with how he is a cannibal i think he consumes souls aswell as their body like a soul eater or a astral daemon from pathfinder.

@@richardkutsera4992I think 'tearing souls apart' doesn't kill them, as their screams can and are broadcasted. It's more likely that it's something like an eternal torture.

Weirdly, I feel like Alastor has a strange sort of affection for Pentious?? Because the thing Alastor hates most is being looked down on, and Pentious considers him a worthy opponent who it would be a great achievement to defeat! Which is why Alastor insults him and blows him up and stuff but always lets him get away to come back again later

@@w98and since Sir Pentious always tries (and fails constantly), to be taken seriously as a real threat to Hell when almost nobody takes him seriously, and since Alastor loves to see wasteful souls accomplish (or try to) something meaningful and fail spectacularly like Pentious does so I wouldn't be surprised if Alastor keeps him alive just to watch and enjoy his constant string of failures.

I like that when Pentious blows a hole in the wall just the shape of a heart, foreshadowing his redemption arc and his new design.

One detail that I noticed was that multiple times throughout the show they establish that these big musical numbers and whats portrayed happening in them actually DO happen in the world of the show impacting nearby citizens and everyone just accepting that these things just happen. Which makes it even more terrifying that Alastor directly calls back to the earlier parts of Vox's song that he WASNT BROADCASTING. The lines about the status quo and "im gonna make you wish that I had stayed gone" were before Vox plugged in and went live, but Alastor said, nuh uh, I see EVERYTHING.

No, I think Alastor is just pretending not to remember Sir Pentious; it would be an easy way for Alastor to sadistically provoke him. 😅 I mean, hell, Alastor even turned the tables on Vox when he (FOOLISHLY) tried badmouthing Alastor in this episode! 😂

Valentino is like my 3 favorite character! (I love villains) He is so well done and how he switches from tantrum mode to "annoy" mode is so funny. And before they come to attack me, I like him as a character, not as a person, okay? He's just a good villain and I love him.

Vox is very likely more powerful than Alastor so between overconfidence and rage he made a bad decision. Funnily enough, that's exactly the poor decision making he was criticising Valentino for 5 seconds ago, but he failed to heed his own advice and paid the price.
