There is another family in the compound that do worship egungun in the compound, whenever our been at home coincident with the festival, we watch them. Remember, there was total love across religious line within and without the family blood then. With regards to what they offered to it , he said, he did not know but if per adventure they dared it, their punishment was to offer goat, every child in the neighborhood even if he witnessed not would hear the news. I am in my 60s and I don't see any lies in what he said. Even if he lied , he is to be appreciated for that because the purpose is to bring UNITY among religion divide.

Tani Olorun you are becoming a sensationalist which is not good for what you are doing. In my hometown where I grown up, there is one Egungun called Alatika which everyone knows who's in charge of this Egungun and anytime he comes out he always pray for everyone of us in the house because the house is kind of friends and family house. Meanwhile my mom do go to Church, me and dad remain Muslim then. Not everything you need to condemn or bring controversy on it. Excess of everything is bad.
