Albanese lashed over housing crisis broken promises

Sky News host Paul Murray lashes Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over another broken promise to “fix” Australia’s housing crisis.
“Australians are finding it very difficult to find a place to rent … we are not building enough houses,” Mr Murray said.
“But remember, the greatest prime minister of all time was going to fix all of that by now.”

Normally I go along with most of your material, Paul. At least you realise your maths is no good. But your example of the number of people coming in and the number of homes being built assumes 1 home per person. Think again, what if 3 people, say a family of mum + dad + child or maybe 2 kids move in. Then the supply and demand would go close to balancing, yes? A family might be an assumption but so is 1 person per house / dwelling. I don't agree with the migration policies and I know the supply of housing isn't where it should be, but if you're going to try and impress us with numbers and statistics then please give it a bit more thought next time.

How many of new houses will go to the 1st ower or they will go to the investor? So, Negative gearing and capital grow concesion tax is the main issues. They need to fix them so the inverstor on house is less so everyone will have opportunity to buy the house.
