I'M ON A QUEST: For culture cuisine, and connection - in every country in the world. For over ten years, I’ve been riding around the world alone on my motorcycle. I’m not going to stop until I’ve ridden through every country in the world.

It all started on July 4th-symbolic of freedom and independence in my home country, USA. I set off alone on my trusty BMW F650GS Dakar motorcycle to travel the world. I didn’t know exactly where I’d go or how long it would take. After three years traveling through thirty-five countries and five continents, I returned home in California and wrote the book that documented that adventure in stories, photos, and recipes: FORKS: A QUEST FOR CULTURE, CUISINE, AND CONNECTION.
Then came a one-year cross country book tour in his legendary “FORKS Van,” then a television show on THE COOKING CHANNEL, inspirational speaking gigs, and much more. All along, I continue to ride the world months at a time, returning home to work and save for the next segment-always leaving my motorcycle in some garage somewhere around the world.
