We agree. We had two weeks there, and only got to see a small portion of Albania. We loved the country and the people, and we hope to go back again some day to explore more!

I have a knack for leaving it in the car or hotel and missing the best opportunities. Rest assured, I always have it with me when I can’t use it though. 😂

Hahahahaha come on guys. You asked a lot of questions to the guide about the pascià killing the french engineers and you didn’t ask one more! You could ask him why Vlora was empty 🤔 After all the time you spent in Albania i find it strange you jump to that conclusion. Anyway , wasn’t absolutely about ramadan because the percentage of people who practice in Albania is unfortunately very low. Anyway in a country where 100 percent of the population doesn’t eat or even go out during ramadan you could not drink alcohol. Did you have that problem in Albania? Preconceptions are hard to die 🤪. Other than that, you’re the kindest people 👋👋👋👋

Thanks for the comment. We TRY to never jump to any conclusions. Our assumptions were merely guesses. Do you know why Vlore was so empty that time of year? To answer your question, atypical to devout Muslim nations, we did see alcohol being served in many places during Ramadan. Our guide explained that as most Albanians being first and foremost Albanian, and anything else secondary to that. Would you agree?

Landlocked Lovebirds hahahahaha i have no idea but i’m sure wasn’t because of ramadan 😂😂😂 I am also sure that even in Ryad life continue even during ramadan 😎 Now tell me how many women dressed in hijab you’ve seen in Albania? Or at least do you know that in a country where you can eat pork everywhere Vlora couldn’t be empty because of ramadan? Maybe because of the wind 🤔

Landlocked Lovebirds yes i do agree. A famous albanian writer says The religion of albanians is albanianism. We all agree with that. For example do you know that our prime minister is catholic? No one cares if you’re muslim catholic orthodox jewish or buddhist. Maybe because only few people practice religion and just believe in god.

True true. Very few hijabs. Though, we did eat mostly lamb, goat, seafood, and chicken. I don’t recall much pork, but I’m sure we could have found some. I think I’d most likely attribute the emptiness to the weather and time of year. But...who knows? 🤷♂️😂

Landlocked Lovebirds you don’t recall much pork because you liked other things. You can’t find some. You can just eat a full 🐖 ears including 👋
