There seems to be a Carl Ruggles "Suntreader" density to the music. The National Symphony in DC will perform three of his Sinfonias this season with its truncated Beethoven series from 2020. My wife will not enjoy Walker`s music, but she WILL enjoy William Grant Still`s Symphony #2 also being programmed. Ohh, look at that.....Still`s 2nd Symphony just showed up in KZbin`s suggestion feed.
