The trick with the capo isn´t bad, but why not simply tune the low E down to D? In a solo performance no one would notice that you play the whole song one step down. Plus you can reach the higher frets much easyer, especially on an acoustic without cutaway

Thanks i tried but I found the g bass easier to reach as it remains on 3rd fret otherwise its very similar

Good content but doesn’t the repeating bass line on the 6th string move up two frets for the second phase of the tune (0.37)?

Top string doesn't drone on in E, ... it moves up to 2nd fret F#.

God bless you Chazward You’re a little diamond Amazed how you get such a tone from just strumming, if anyone didn’t know better they’d swear you were using a pick, I’m more of a strummer than a pick man but no way do I get a sound like yours out of my old Yamaha like you do Can you show us how you do it?
