So mutch joy and respect here. Gary a furious hurricane, and albert, total unique, like Roy Buchanan. Fantastic :-)

I knew Albert. He was a wonderful, unpretentious man. Just a regular guy, who played guitar in a way nobody's been to dupiclate. Kind of like Hendrix. Not that I'm comparing the two. They both had thier own styles, but nobody can exactly dupilicate either one of them. God love 'em, and may they both rest in peace.

Wow. Albert King said Gary could play a whole lotta notes + still sound good. The Iceman was Kings personal favorite. When asked who he liked of the young players King replied : Gary + S. R. V.!!!

Two Geniuses!. What Amazing, Brilliant guitar playing from Gary Moore and Albert Collins. So expressive so into their music just PHENOMENAL guitar playing. I could sit and watch them all night long. Who couldn’t?. Magnificent playing. Both just took it in their stride. Both too modest to take the roar of gratification from the audience Oh “WOW!” . I’ve been blown away. Gary Moore is such a loss, a devastating, loss to the music industry. He was Such a modest, quiet, shy kind of a guy. He Just took everything in his stride in concerts. A wonderful guy!. His Guitar playing spoke volumes. He conversed through his guitar playing to his audience. Instead of talking in between songs. He just gave a modest “Thank You!.” God rest your beautiful soul Gary until we meet again, because we will for sure.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️✝️❤️🌹😘😘😘😘😘

I agree with those who say Albert Collins is unique. His style is kinda quirky and has that sting to it. A style all its own and a very good one.

maybe gary moore is virtousic, but he sounds like all those other shredders. while albert collins was one in a million, a true genius with a totally unique style, who needed just one note to shake you to the core. hats off.

It's comparing apples with peers. Don't go there. I personally like the style of Collins much better but Moore is a hell of a guitar player.

Its been a while since this reply but one thing Albert King tried to tell Gary all the time is to play less. Gary has his own style and it’s often replicated now (see Joe Bonamassa, seriously copying Gary). The thing with the three Kings and guys like albert Collins, buddy guy, etc was that they didn’t have to play a flurry of notes. That’s what made them legends. Guys like Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and other British blues guys worshipped these legends

@@kamb26 Some say "less can be more" I've always have subscribed to Gary Moore's theory,if less is more just think of how much more,"more"is!
