Albert Luthuli's family welcomes inquest into his death

Chief Albert Luthuli's grandson, Mthunzi Luthuli has welcomed Justice Minister Ronald Lamola's announcement of the reopening of the inquest into the deaths of anti-apartheid activists Chief Albert Luthuli, Mlungisi Griffiths Mxenge and Booi Manyti.
Luthuli says the inquest will dispel some of the lies told by the apartheid government about his grandfather.
He speaks to Newzroom Afrika's Thabo Mdluli.

I agree that we need to inquire these unresolved apartheid cases. By allowing the perpetrators to get away without punishment we have opened the floodgates of impunity. The crimes of the 1980s era should be prioritised, since its more likely that the perpetrators are still alive. The government must also stop paying pensions to former apartheid security police killers!
