Alberta Adventure Day 22 | Jasper National Park | Wabasso and Wapiti Campgrounds

If you have ever wanted to visit Jasper - I highly recommend a visit! Surrounded by #mountains Jasper Town lies near the Northern edge of Jasper National Park. The park boasts 3 primary front-country campgrounds and a multitude of trails and backcountry campsites.
Within a short drive, you can visit the Athabasca River, Maligne Lake, Patricia Lake, Pyramid Lake and Medicine Lake (got to see my first marmot at Medicine Lake!!)
Elk are ever present in Jasper. You see them grazing on the grass outside the town limits. And if you're lucky, you can watch a grizzly cross the highway or get chased out of one of the campgrounds!

It was absolutely amazing! I spent a few days in Jasper Town but could easily have stayed a week. Maligne and Medicine lakes could be 2 days alone with trails and water activities.
