Alberta Adventure Day 25 | Hiking Old Fort Point Loop Trail | Jasper National Park

Hate to leave Mount Robson but it was time to make my way home. I did a last look at the area peaks from the Mount Robson Visitor Center then hit the highway back to Jasper. Once there, I parked the RV camper and hiked the Old Fort Point Loop Trail. The haze was still pretty thick but I bet the views from the lookout would have been even better on a clear day.

Thanks! It was a nice trail. I was curious to venture further down the trail past Kinney Lake but figured there were obstacles from the previous wash out. Definitely have to go back and check it out!

They've been working on the Berg Lake Trail for a year or 2 already. The entire stretch from the Mount Robson Visitor Center to the GDT was in need of repair or clean up. They started working from the visitor center, inward and have gotten as far as (or possibly just beyond) Kinney Lake. Still lots to do as the entire trail is roughly 20kms
