On a 2s 450 it’s gets 5mins I have some flights on here with it . I flew my shop at work and broke it up into 3 or 4 videos for instagram but it was a single flight . The weight is 53g without a battery. I fly the 300mah 3s too that’s about 4mins . I took a sailfly x everything and made a mobula 7 basically and naked vista with nebula camera. Byrdctyfpv on ig to see it .

And another question :) The FC you used has the motor pads in the normal location (1-2 on right, 3-4 on left) when the usb port is facing up. The other FCs are opposite (3-4 right, 1-2 left) when the USB is up. So I assume that the configuration needs the same roll axis betaflight changes that you made for the Crux3 conversion. I went with the BetaFPV Whoop F405 V3 as it was the only one in stock at the time. Thanks, Albert.

Every board will be a little different in it's setup. For this specific board, I did remap the motors because the board is inverted. So to figure out what you need for your board, you have to test it. Do the motor spin test and see where they are when you invert the quad. Then re-arrange the motors so they are in the proper positions for betaflight. Also, don't forget to adjust the board orientation as well. Make sure you double check all your changes. So many people message me that "it doesn't work", and after days (sometimes months) of back and forth, it turns out they just overlooked something obvious.

I'm trying to figure out how the nano v2 camera is mounted. It appears that you cut the bottom of the GoPro holder and folded down two flaps to hold the camera on either side. Did you print it like that or did you cut your original design? Thanks.

Yes, that's exactly how it works. Print it flat and fold it down. Obviously the screws holding the camera will keep the flaps from moving back up. It works really well.

That board has a built-in VTX and you can't add an external one to it.

Not much difference. All are a lot less noisy than most other typical cinewhoops. I've actually been trying out different props and will have a video about the one that seems the least "annoying" in sound.

Hi, Albert. Well, I'm pretty sure I damaged the ESC portion of my BetaFPV F405 FC. Probably from an embarrassing number of attempts needed to get the tiny motor pads soldered well. Just checking if you have any thoughts on possible rescue. - battery power lights the power LED but motor#1 just repeatedly clicks and other motors are silent - no bootup tones nor blue LED - continuity checks are fine; no shorts and no apparent open circuits - solder joints appear solid with no visible bridging, continuity thru all motor wires - small voltage (0.25 on 20-volt scale) on all motor/esc pads - Betaflight seems to connect fine through USB, returns data, and lights the blue LED - BLheli seems to connect, but returns no data from interrogating ESCs I've admitted defeat and ordered 2d FC, but am still willing to pursue a rescue attempt if any options remain. Thanks.

Sounds like the ESCs are toasted. You need to be able to get data from them otherwise they won't work.

3S 520mah HV gets about 5 to 5.5 minutes flight time with naked GoPro.

Me again, Albert :) I'm waiting on delivery of a Caddx Vista system for this build. Wondering what your thoughts are on pushing a naked Vista to 1200mw using the "1200 hack" for the DJI goggles. Too risky with regards to heat? I'm new to the Vista so any advice is welcome.

It will overheat faster and do a forced shutdown to prevent damage. If you're flying when this happens, you'll crash obviously. I heard YMMV. Some people report no problems as long as they fly right away, while others say it shuts down soon after plug in or soon after take off.

It is a very pretty drone. Nice job. Do you ever experience any heat dissipation issues with the naked DJI air unit? For example, would it get enough airflow if you were just doing a hover test?

Even in a hover, the props are pulling in air over it. It only overheats if you just power it up and let it sit there motionless. However, the thermal protection still kicks in and it powers off before any damage occurs.

The prop guards are not 3D printed. You can buy them in the link in the description. The footage is from a naked goPro stabilized with ReelSteadyGO. I have playlists on my channel for the naked goPro and ReelSteadyGO if you need more information about both.

I purchased the 'BetaFPV Whoop F405 V3 2-4S AIO Whoop Flight Controller w/ 20A 4in1 ESC' linked in the description, and I can't find any information regarding what type of plug the motor wires should use to connect to the board. Both RDQ and BetaFPV have no idea what it is. Does anybody know the name of the connector?

You can solder to the pads on the other side. The pads are small but still possible with a fine tip iron.

Damn I already purchased the 5000kv 😋 So a 3s on 7500kv with 70% scale gets the same efficiency as a 3s on 5000kv 100%? Cool how you mounted the vista hehe How was the wind in the end clip? No wind?

There's some wind there but you can't really see it after ReelSteadyGo. The 70% scale is an approximation to simulate a motor RPM about the same as 5000kv... it's not an exact science.
