You should install remote storage cameras on the car that can suction on and suction off that way you can take it off before the race but still deter criminals. The remote storage means that even if they destroy or take the cameras you still have the recording.

Personally i think it was a fellow driver or one of their mechanics thats slower than you doing the sabotage. Competition can do crazy things to some people, like causing jealousy and envy. As it has been mentioned your team should invest in a trail camera (so you can take it with you when you race at different tracks) so you can find out who has been doing this. This was not the first time so this probably wont be the last. If it was me i would be sleeping in the garage right next to the car on race weekends. Hate to see you going thru this, but one thing ive learned from watching you all these years is that Naska is a fighter that doesn't ever give up! Good luck with your next race!

He was not talking of competitors. He knows most of them and a racer would not do something like this since it knows the risks. It's probably someone outside Eurolegend series and outside motorsport entirely. Remember that legend cars are not in pit boxes that can be closed and no one can go inside since usually they race along with bigger series like Euronascar

Thanks for showing the light that not all race weekends go according to plan, with all the prep there are still so many variables to contend with. Looking at the sabotage, I think someone really wanted to score in the championship and wanted to ensure you were one less contender to deal with.

Definitely time for your own security cameras. Can be found cheap around 100 bucks for 2 cameras and a dvr. Back in the 90s the nascars used to put signed duct tape on everything just to make sure nothing was tampered with. What a crappy situation.

I was at the US500 at Michigan international speedway in 1998 when a wheel came off a car then went in the grandstands and killed a few spectators. Watched the aftermath with my binoculars I had. So it definitely can happen and it is horrible to witness.

Amazing how disgusting the world has become. I had a similar issue here in the US 10 years ago. TG no one was hurt. My suspension was Sabotaged. So sad, Now and forever. I leave my machines under lock n key and sleep w my bike during race weekends..

I saw this on the italian channel when it happened. I think besides this guy having his Mussolini moment.. maybe have discussion with the series to see if there is a way that you can install cameras in your box / car over night. I think these are unacceptable circumstances so there should be some leeway.

That's horrible! I'm glad the team found all of that before it could harm you or anybody else However, a possible reason to "hate the person who worked to get there instead of the rich kid who was gifted everything" is simple: Elitism. A lot of those rich kids think that those who reach your place through money are tainting the competition, ruining their "exclusive club" where you are uninvited. Simple and plain elitism. And quite possibly also feel entitled to beat you because, well, elitism again. So I wouldn't be surprised if the one sabotaging you all is because of that

Someone doing such dirty stuff don't show his hatred openly. Don't think only about the other competitor drivers, they are less likely to commit such dangerous sabotage, it could also hurt them indirectly, you never know. When such thing happen, often, it's a competitor's sponsor, his family member or team principal. They want to see their driver winning at any cost, and they are the more likely to behave in such irresponsible way.

Because only there they can have a little campsite, make fire, try building things…… All the time someone finds out where that place is and trash it.
