This is a glorious 2 hours and 45 minutes of hookline, after hookline ,after hookline. To me, Albinoni wrote the equivalent of today's pop music , in his time, and these incredible oboe concertos, are a perfect example of that . I can't think of any other composer who wrote such incredibly memorable, catchy pieces - with no 'fillers' whatsoever; not a single note is a wasted one -.every single note, phrase, and melody is so lyrical, and instantly memorable and accessible to the listener . My 'internal jukebox' loves Albinoni's oboe concertos, and I often find myself humming/whistling any one of these pieces in my head, wherever I happen to be.

Symphony orchestras don't tend to play very much music by Baroque composers. Bach, Vivaldi, maybe Handel. That's about it.

I'm not a connoisseur at all ... I'm not an expert nor do I get close to being a fan of classical music, but let's all have heard classical music out there ... in some documentary, by commercial on TV, in a store. .. on the radio somewhere ... but always with the most "famous" and "popular" musicians and although they are very beautiful works of art ... when I discovered the music of Albinoni something made me stop and enjoy ... So, without more or more ... enjoy your music as few times the music made me feel .... it was like .... travel to a world of sensations, it made me feel and almost moved to tears by hyper sensitization of my mind to feel how the sounds calmed me the anxiety that I suffer for many years ... made me want to live in peace and remember my childhood and my parents ... my life ... made me feel lonely and at the same time joy ... it's very strange ... it's such a beautiful and harmonious style ... and since I do not know it every new melody is t good or better than the previous one and little by little with emotion I enjoy every subtle change of rhythm ... sorry if I can not use the correct language to describe this music, I am not knowledgeable and I only try to share what makes me feel .. Its style is so valid that it could be used today in a commercial and it would feel as if time had not passed ... this man Albinoni was a being ahead of his time or simply his art is timeless and even more than 300 years old. his death can feel his wonderful sensitivity to write music ... he is so harmonious and happy and suddenly so moving that from the joy of life you can see yourself wrapped in a sensibility of melancholy so subtle ... that you can enjoy it, today when I feel sad, I find his music more cheerful and I can imagine myself in a castle running with the clothes of the time ... or I can imagine myself in a current park running with my pet among trees in search of my beloved girlfriend ... I love it because it makes me dream...

You know, the funny thing about Albinioni is his modesty. He never really considered himself a composer in the professional sense. He was a tradesman whose family made playing cards. Yes, playing cards. He always considered himself an amateur and his compositions a kind of hobby. The oboe was for his wife. He said that the oboe's timbre reminded him of his wife's voice. She must have been a beautiful and joyful woman if she's to be judged by his music, also moments of great tenderness. One gets the sense that there was much joy and love in his life. Or I hope so. Albinioni's music is some of the most joyful and life affirming in the western canon.

He deconciled his story ... and that his art was the purest and most honest art, there is nothing more honest than a point of view of someone who is not knowledgeable, just as I who only listen to him and can say exactly what makes me feel without judging the rules of composition or scores ... De toute manière j'adore tout ce qui peut être considéré comme grande musique car à notre époque peu de personnes s'y intéresse. Quand à moi c'est un privilège de pouvoir écouter de tels bijoux dans ma maison. En effet je suis loin de tout, en pleine campagne et c'est mon refuge, avec mes écouteurs, je navigue dans ma maison, et je chante sur ces morceaux, surtout les voix, j'aime les doubles, triples voix. Albinoni camerto muy soul when i was ay medical school, in April 1982 my parents went yo visit me while giving social service in a remote rural zone of the sierra of Sonora, my parents were one ir two days with me and farewell on the Bavispe river, i was hearing the oboe concerto Op.7 meanwhile they slowly crossed the river on their truck, i Stayed there hours hearing the divine Albinoni that saturday afternoon: Albinoni enhances flow of souls

Imagine to meet Albinoni, in his time... the music has a smooth velvet sound in the oboe use, all of it in a major key, rapturous top line, exquisite sense of new born Spring life, it's joyous yet strong tone, that he maintiains, this definiteness in every section, makes it's never boring. "Ethereal" is how I would best describe Albinoni's concertos. Even Bach's works don't have the same feel as these recordings. Albinoni is really unique in the elegance of his concertos.

Famous JS Bach had very high respect and regards for Albinoni music. He was even giving Albinoni's art to his students to practise. This particular oboe concerto is probably the best ever written Had a personal heartache when my little dog died. Listen this concerto and cried my heart out. So sad
