hey alb, big fan here! this is unrelated to the video, but I have a querie about washi tape! I love watching your art videos, as an artist myself you have given me some great tips! I went out yesterday and bought washi tape and a box blade type thing (the kind you use! not sure what it's called exactly.), and I was trying to do your method of covering the main subject of the painting in washi tape and cut around it, to paint the background first. however, I just can't manage to actually cut through just the washi tape and my blade always ends up going through the paper! any advice on how to avoid this? am I using too much pressure? in all fairness, I didn't press *too* hard down, I'm just not sure how to get around this!! hope you see this! keep on doing whay you're doing, alb. you're a star 🌟
