Having created an accurate (IMHO) cosplay reproduction of the Janet’s original outfit myself, I have a special appreciation for just how on-point your artistry really is. What you created is simply astounding. In the description, you said it took months to produce, and I totally believe that - it shows. It was 100% worth all the effort you surely put into it!! This IS the new high water mark - in so many ways. Everything had to be just right to produce a video, much less a legit ASMR video, of such high-quality. Just wow. Janet’s outfit is so specific, I can’t imagine finding all those pieces!

The blouse alone is a serious challenge. To my knowledge, it’s only available from Mood Fabrics (LA and NYC). That’s fine, but when I attempted making this, they only had 1/2 yard, with no expectation of restocking. So, I had to carefully study the video footage, media stills and develop a technique to print my the complex watercolor pattern on white fabric. Unless the fabric has since became available, she must have gone through a similar process. Getting it fabbed at Spoonflower would have been another option, but that comes with its own challenges. Whew! The vest is also very fitted. So, unless you will find the _exact same garment somewhere and you have a “ideal” (standard) body proportions, the only way to achieve the right look is to draft your own pattern and meticulously tweak it. In the video, it’s obvious that a LOT of work went into its construction.

I just watched the instagram stories about how the costume and props were made and I have to say, what you have done is absolutely incredible.
