Rules:

- The aim is to keep XP gain as low as possible without affecting my sanity.
- Hard mode, obviously
- No stat boosting items
- All other game mechanics are fair game!
Hardtype changes:
- Albion HP: 2700 → 10000
- Physical affinity: Neutral → Void
- Zoa HP: 1300 → 4500
Double upload! Albion voids phys now, so the trick for a (relatively) quick victory is to take down one of the Zoa, then spam multi target spells of the opposite element. It reminds me of the final Harihara fight in DDS1 actually. While it's still not particularly difficult I do appreciate that there's an actual point to the elemental gimmick now instead of just spamming phys skills to win, although if you get a freeze off on Albion of course you want to slam him with a Hell Thrust. Stasis Blade crits on Demi are scary as hell, but a phys resist magatama is not an option since we still have to keep working towards those element void passives. I have at least routed it so he voids fire and force here, and by the time we get to Trumpeter he'll be virtually invulnerable to all elemental magic.
Side note: the minions give more XP here than in my previous run, but I don't think their base yield has been increased. Rather it's their level that's been increased, and Nocturne has a system whereby as you level the XP given is reduced. So far we're about 6k XP up on the vanilla run, which still isn't enough to make a difference to our finishing level.
