@@akhito7683 Weak argument. Yes, Arabic chanting sounds beautiful, but so does Latin, Greek and Russian. (just to name a few) And beauty of a language is subjective. My fav Russian one is Hymn of the Cherubim and my fav Latin one of Anima Christi

@akhito7683 That is a 100% biased opinion. Some could claim Hebrew is God's language, others could say Aramaic. Music is universal, it can sound beautiful and soothing in any language. You seem like someone who doesn't study cultures outside of your own...

i'm roman catholic born and raised and i absolutely love arabic orthodox chants. can't help but notice that the vocal inflections used sound similar to nasheeds, which are beautiful in and of themselves

I can't stop listening to this...I wish orthodox christian arabs would sing for The Lord in muslim style, kinda like this. It gives a unique sound to the orthodox christian chants, and it is used in a holy manner. ☦
