Exhaust means the card will be used once and then it’s done for that combat. So with the feed card, you did duplicate it but it kept going into your exhaust pile (the purple circle above the discard pile)

Thank you Nuka for letting me know this. I've got so much to learn for Slay The Spire, but it's awesome. Will try and complete the game, before the second one comes out.

I love watching you experience the game! Failure is a part of learning, and as long as you are having fun and not getting backseat-ed too much I think it will be fun to watch! It certainly has been so far

I'm happy you are loving the videos on it. I was a bit worried as I've never done a rogue-like and did not know the best process to make videos on it. I'm loving it and addicted to trying to get a good run. Na the comments have been awesome, I welcome any tips to get better at the game.

Card removals at shops are really good and should be taken often. You want to use them on your strike and defends to thin out your deck so you draw your best cards more often. They're also great for ridding your deck of curses.

I really like the videos and I'd like no off camera runs at least at first so we can see the improvement, speaking of I have a few tips: 1: when you first start a run try to get a few early fights to try and get a couple good attacks and maybe a potion, if you accomplish that consider an elite or two because they give much better rewards than anything else. 2: I really can't stress this enough but remove cards as much as possible (thin to win). Your starting strikes and defends are the weakest cards in the game and every time you draw one you just missed the chance to draw something better (opportunity cost). Though this only really applies once you have good cards so in act one mostly focus on getting good cards by taking fights. After that though priority number one is thinning the deck so you draw your best cards more often. 3: this is connected to number two, only take cards if they on average make your deck better. At the very start you should take pretty much everything because when you have the terrible starting deck even mediocre cards are an improvement, but once your deck starts taking shape it gets less and less useful to take mediocre cards. So as a rule of thumb the later in the game you are the less you should take. I love the content and don't stress over playing super optimally, that being said, having these things in the back of your mind is insanely helpful.
