You two are so cute. I did have a Dermot moment, feeling like a protective father! Tell him you have a whole bunch of viewers that are protective of you! LOL! Anyway, Good haul! Yay, you finally got a Brian Auger album too! Like with any artist, you have to start somewhere, then expand out until you get a good sample!

Such a great front man and vocalist Roger Chapman. Family were a unique band , and I never tire of seeing the great John Wetton , whoever he is playing with. A lovely sight to see you two together , and let's face it , 2 Prog minds are better than 1. Much love to you both. 😍🎵🎵🤘

great haul for the new Progcouple! the biggest thing you guys could face is, you see a Prog or otherwise record you BOTH WANT. Who gets to buy and own it? Or like in a scene in the new music-themed film "The Greatest Hits", is it something that has to have "joint custody"? I must admit, a few times, I let my wife have the record we both wanted (Capital Cities "A Tidal Wave of Mystery" for example). However on Record Store Day many years ago (2019?) the GHOST WORLD soundtrack was availlable, but we found only 1 copy. And while my wife likes the film, GW is my favorite movie ever, so it was mine being a bigger fan. or if there are 2 copies, you get 2? more expensive for a couple's income/budget, but hey.

Wonderful to see the superb classic 'John Barleycorn Must Die' by Traffic featured here! It's great that you spotlight such gems that often get overshadowed by the more prominent Prog giants.. 'Blind Faith' by Blind Faith (also with Steve Winwood on vocals and keys) is another excellent album that deserves more recognition!

So, a month after your previous video upload, I assume Tara's still in Canada spending all her money on obscure American LPs and Dermot is in Ireland working hard and combing the cat (while listening to Chicago). I've been learning all about (to me) obscure and unknown prog bands by watching the Sunday live streams of The Prog Corner and most of Scot's other videos plus a few from Andy Edwards and Harold's Prog Rock Channel. By the way, recently I purchased from bandcamp a copy of Science & Sanity, the 52nd album by UNIT and I can now announce, officially, it is my favourite album of 2024 even though it actually came out in December 2023. Also, thanks to your channel and also to Scot Lade, I've discovered Family with that bonkers vocalist. I selected an album at random from amazon and bought it. I chose Fearless (complete with bonus tracks) and it is one of the best albums I've ever heard by anyone! The harmony vocals...the bass guitar playing...the lyrics...the music...the vibraphone (UNIT echoes there). I'm starting to think progressive rock just might be The Best Music In The World! So thank you, Tara, Dermot and Scot.

(Gentle Giant-The Power And Glory) The only way I could describe my first experience is the most “exhilarating bonkers” I ever felt 😆😂🤘🏼if that makes any sense 😂….I much prefer Octopus….tho some say The Power And Glory is easier to digest. What is the name of the album Cody gifted you…I need to explore that one. If Tara loves it so will I! You two are just precious together 💖

Yes, I'm back (although it's curious - we say 'I'm back' and 'I'll be back' but never 'I'm front' and 'I'll be front' - I wonder why that should be). I've been working on material for our next album so I avoided virtually all social media / external stimuli except for my regular daily dose of Ben Shapiro, naturally. Now you can return to Ireland, show all your newly acquired LPs to your dad and watch him grind his teeth with envy!

I don't know if you're aware of this but you have another fan - chap in the comments bought your Science & Sanity album and rates it very highly. I prefer the latest one, Am Yisrael Chai, but both have their excellent features even if I do find some of the lyrics a bit too politically right wing for my delicate liberal sensibilities!
