Best album they've made so far. Second favorite of the year up to now. First is still Elegy, but Sanctum is good shit. Also the atmosphere is phenomenal. They really nailed that in particular.

At 43:06 I got triggered by the guy in chat saying "I wish Within The Ruins stayed good." WTR is one of the greatest bands to ever exist, and i have only come across ONE OTHER that has a sound similar to theirs (The Raven Autarchy). They have evolved and got better with each album release, Joe has continually pushed this band to new heights and they even managed to find a new vocalist that really complimented them perfectly.

Tbh the second half of the album is my favorite. Which makes sense considering the 3rd and 4th eps were my faves. From The Weight onwards especially.

What an amazing record. Was afraid that it would let me down since already hearing 8 of the 14 but the rest of the album really ties it together so fucking well. The Weight into Wither into Bloom is absolutely amazing
