No one does a mid-song tempo switch-up quite like she does! She just continues to deliver each and every time. She'll get her true flowers one day! 'Thirsty' is a smash in the waiting and I think there is a LOT of potential for 'No Broke Boys' to go viral on Tik Tok and become a hit in a similar way to 'Nasty'!

Also, in interviews she talks about her own creative instinct being what she values most in her art. And that as grateful as she is for Nasty, she isn't changing her formula, she is just going to make what she loves!!! She likes to play with paradox and contradicting sounds like angelic vocals on hard beats etc. Her music is soothingly enchanting, and lit at the same time!

It feels so good to see someone enjoyng Tinashe's music as much as I do. Im loving the vibe of this album, she's definitely one of the greatest. And OMG how she sampled herself on No Broke Boys, she used her song One Taste, AKA All it Takes Is One Taste ❤

Oh it’s funny you say No Broke Boys sounds like it could have been on Aquarius, she actually sampled herself a bit in the chorus for NBB in an old unreleased song for Aquarius called “One Taste.” Great reaction too!!! ❤❤

I’m so glad to know there are more obsessed people loving Tinashe. It’s always everything going on in the background of her songs that I love. She’s a vibe. Production is always perfect. No Broke Boys could literally be a single. I now like Getting No Sleep. It makes sense on the album.

Loving your observations Sam!! And totally agree that her songs just open up to you more and more - that's what happened to me with BB/Ang3l too!!! I hope you saw the visual experience too - because her movement to her sound is a whole other production too. PS. great to see a fellow Aussie eating up Tinashe!!! I got re-obsessed with her after seeing her at Souled Out in March earlier this year.
