Hello Mr Pendragon, My name is Nelson. I personally believe that Good Ol' Santa went to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry and that the Sorting Hat placed him in the house known for the most loyal and fair students, HUFFLEPUFF. Santa embodies the values of hard work, kindness, fairness, and loyalty, all hallmarks of Hufflepuff. Year after year, he oversees the monumental task of delivering presents to children across the globe, a feat that requires immense dedication and effort. Santa's ability to see the good in everyone, regardless of whether they're on the naughty or nice list, speaks to his Hufflepuff fairness. He doesn’t play favorites or seek glory for his deeds. There’s an argument to be made for his potential ties to Durmstrang, a school known for its appreciation of cunning and magical ingenuity. After all, Santa's reindeer flight magic and bottomless toy sack do hint at some advanced magical training. However, based on his personality and purpose, I feel Santa is more aligned with the warmth and inclusive spirit of Hufflepuff. As the sorting had might have said when Sorting Santa....Better be HUFFLEPUFF!!!!

While attempting to sort Saint Nicholas into any house other than Hufflepuff is tempting, the fit is too strong. He demonstrates fairness by providing gifts or coal based on the actions of children. He is dedicated to fulfilling his task annually. He exhibits patience and a strong work ethic by accomplishing the impossible in a single night. He certainly shows a fondness for nature in how he takes care of his reindeer and elves (who all appear to have been given clothes). Helga would be proud of Old Saint Nick.

While it might seem like Hufflepuff would be the most obvious choice being that he is loyal and kind and generous, I would think that Santa Claus would be in RAVENCLAW. 1. He is hardworking: He delivers all the Christmas gifts in one night to billions of children 2. He is organized: He maintains a naughty and nice list and also leads the whole operation with the elves like a true leader. 3. He is smart and creative: He has a factory run by elves to create all those toys and gifts for kids 4. He is accepting of everyone.

Santa would definitely be a Hufflepuff! Imagine him in their cozy, plant-filled common room, sharing stories of his adventures with magical reindeer and sipping hot cocoa with the students. His endless kindness and dedication to delivering joy to every child perfectly match Hufflepuff’s values of fairness and hard work. Plus, his laugh-“Ho, ho, ho!”-would echo so warmly through the halls of Hogwarts.

When my father died of cancer, I lost my mind. I became highly depressed and suicidal. I had used the books as a way to escape the horrible circumstances I was in. One night in particular, I was more depressed than others and decided to end my life. But the Deathly Hallows was coming out in less than a month. I promised myself I'd hold on until I had completed the story. The world I was able to create in my mind was a reality that had no pain, no loss, just a damn fine story about such things. I held onto life to finish the story so many of us had grown up with. Said all that tonsay this: Thank you for all your amazing work that you put into making these videos! You ignite my imagination with your carefully chosen dialogue! Again, you bring more magic to the world than you realize!

I highly debated between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff myself, as I'm told I have qualities that fit those two houses most, but I settled on Hufflepuff for me in the end. I just LOVE the Hufflepuff house. It's my favorite. Though I think Ravenclaw's is also pretty awesome.

I think Santa Claus would have been a Slytherin as I think that delivering gifts to all kids around the world is quite ambitious. The idea of stealthily delivering gifts to kids at night is cunning and sly to make sure he would not waste any time talking to them.
@Remnant-Star768 сағат бұрын
Another Wonderful and Magical episode as always. Dumbledore's tale and origins are pretty interesting. Seeing how this talented and ambitious person was blinded by not just someone who would share their abilities but also by love, as well as a reflection of how both would be. Grindlewald would be Albus if he went down the Dark Side. Albus would be if Grindlewald wasn't a psychopath. Grindlewald charming Albus in a way could be like Lucifer/The Devil. How he would appear more fair and beautiful to tempt others to fall down the wrong path. It is tragic how it took Ariana's death and Grindlewald attacking his brother did it open his eyes and turn him into the more kind and cautious Headmaster we know today. For Santa's Hogwarts House, I think maybe he could have been a Hat Stall between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff: They value Loyalty, Hard Work, Dedication, Fair Play, Patience Old St. Nick is patient with his work and Dedicated to it. I mean think about it. Working all year round on gifts and on which child or person is Naughty or Nice from their own deeds. He is fair with the names of children on his lists and he even welcomes everyone like when he got married to Mrs. Claus and the elves he has in his workshop and his herd of flying reindeer which he helps take care of. His loyalty to all humanity is shown in not just the gifts he gives to children, but even as St. Nick when he would drop three bags of gold to a poor family to save three daughters from bad situations. All showing his jollyness, kindness, generosity and love for all. All pointing to Hufflepuff. Plus he loves the sweets and food. The milk and cookies. Ravenclaw: They value Intelligence, Knowledge, Curiosity, Creativity, Wit The way Jolly Old St. Nick was able to make sure his North Pole Base hasn't been found by any means, be it special Concealment Magic or maybe ones around Space and/or Time takes insane amounts of Knowledge and Creativity. Then there is how he is able to know which kid is Naught or Nice and each deed they do and make and to know what each one wanted in past Christmas's. That takes a WHOLE a lot of Memory. It's like how Ollivander remembers every wand he sold and who he sold them to and what each wand was made of. Then there is how he keeps track of Naughty and Nice kids. Does he have paper and pens/quills like the Quill of Acceptance and the Book of Admittance? Maybe, it could be possible. How he used all magic he had to bring the Elves and to make the Reindeer fly. Maybe Rudolph was being born like any reindeer but infused with special light magic that he could have taken from the Northern Lights, which would have taken Great Creativity. Speaking of Knowledge and Creativity and Wit, there's how he would be able to travel around the world in a single night and deliver presents. So the Sorting Hat would take a good long while before deciding to put Santa in Hufflepuff. However, St. Nick might have been around before Hogwarts , yet when traveling or looking over the List, he while in younger years, goes to Hogwarts and learns more there. Maybe like in your Merlin Video, used time magic to go back further in time to the time of St. Nicholas of Myra. Will you ever do a Origins/History of other Magical Schools? Like Ilvermorny. Maybe with some MCUSA Wizard/Witch to help with telling the story? That would be fun to see on The Spellbook Chronicles. Learnign more about different Wizarding Schools. Then there's those like Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. The Durmstrang one could include a theory that was brought up by Seamus Gorman-(kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHSkdnmspK5ke9k , and Harry Potter Folklore- kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaXFiYSFnJJ0m6M) despite being founded by Nerida Vulchanova. There are other theories related to if Slytherin helped found Durmstrang as to why the school doesn't accept Muggle-Born/No-Maj born. But seeing the Ilvermorny one would be awesome to see. Also speaking of Ilvermorny, With you being in Ravenclaw and being an Adventurer Wizard. You might be either Horned Serpent or Thunderbird. How it goes is each Ilvermorny house, instead of being their own entity like the Hogwarts houses, the Ilvermorny Houses represent a different part of the Whole Witch or Wizard. So no matter where you are, you are a unique part of a whole. Horned Serpent represents the Mind and attracts Scholars Wumpus represents the Body and attracts Warriors Thunderbird represents the Soul and attracts Adventurers. Pukwudgie represents the Heart and attracts Healers. What is cool about the Ilvermorny Sorting, is more than one carving or the House Animals can react if they want the students in their house and then the student chooses which one to go in to. So Quentin, I think if you went to do the Ilvermorny Sorting, I think the Horned Serpent and Thunderbird Carving would react.

If Santa Claus were sorted into a Hogwarts house, I’d say he’d belong in Hufflepuff-but not for the reasons you might immediately think. Of course, his legendary kindness, generosity, and commitment to making sure every child feels special align perfectly with Hufflepuff’s values of hard work, patience, and loyalty. But it's not just his sweet nature that lands him there. Santa's dedication to his mission-delivering presents to every child in one night, across the entire globe-requires incredible persistence and organization, traits Hufflepuffs are known for. Plus, the magical logistics of Santa’s operation, with the reindeer, sleigh, and secretive North Pole headquarters, would likely be a product of extensive teamwork, much like a Hufflepuff’s strong bonds with their friends and family. And let’s not forget Santa’s unwavering belief in the goodness of people, which aligns with the Hufflepuff sense of fairness and trust. Santa embodies those ideals on a huge scale, spreading joy to all, regardless of background. So while he might have a little Gryffindor courage or Ravenclaw creativity, Santa’s core values make him the ultimate Hufflepuff-a magical embodiment of the house’s ideals of warmth, community, and never giving up on the magic of kindness.

Santa would be Slytherin. Hear me out, we know Slytherins are not all evil even Merlin was apart of that house. Santa is very ambitious; he has an entire holiday wrapped around him. Another quality favored by Slytherins, is strong leadership which Santa is in charge of who knows how many Elves all coordinating to make gifts for millions of children. Santa is also very much a rule-breaker; muggles not only know of him but know he's magical which means he refuses to adhear to the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.

Ah, the age-old question: which Hogwarts house would Santa Claus belong to? Let’s break it down, shall we? First off, we’ve got to consider his legendary generosity. I mean, the guy literally flies around the world in one night, delivering gifts to every child on the planet. That screams Hufflepuff to me! They’re all about hard work and dedication, and let’s be real, Santa’s got the ultimate work ethic. I can just picture him in the Hufflepuff common room, sipping hot cocoa with the house elves after a long night of sleighing! But wait, let’s not forget about the Gryffindor spirit! Santa is brave, taking on the challenge of traveling through the skies and dodging chimneys like a pro. Plus, he’s got that whole “naughty or nice” list thing down to a science, which requires a certain level of courage to keep track of all those mischievous little ones. You know he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve for those who end up on the naughty list. I mean, who else could pull off the ultimate heist of breaking into homes while leaving behind gifts? Talk about a bold move! Now, if we really want to get into the nitty-gritty, there’s a sprinkle of Ravenclaw in there too. Santa's got to be pretty clever to manage his operations, from toy production to logistics. I can just see him in a cozy corner of the Ravenclaw tower, brainstorming with his elves on how to make the best toys while also mastering the art of time management. So, in the end, Santa’s a bit of a house-hopper-Hufflepuff for his kindness, Gryffindor for his bravery, and Ravenclaw for his cleverness. But let’s be honest, he’d probably just charm the Sorting Hat into letting him hang out in all three houses!

My belief is that he would have been a Hufflepuff. Their traits are exemplified as Hardworking, Loyalty, Patience, Justice and most importantly their perpension for Kindness. Kriskind became known as Chris Kringle. He was pious and known to be who was very religious and most of all very kind. He was know to give his wealth out to those that would leave their shoes outside. He stopped the sale of three sisters who would have been sold off to be spicy sleep workers by their poor father. He did this by giving them a dowry, so they could be married. This shows kindness of a Huffpuff. He would do so with hard work by going around in his mission as a monk and the dedication that it takes which also shows his ability to be loyal to cause and those around the world. With his coworkers the house elves. They work beside him which lends to one to conclude that much like Harry and Dobby’s relationship. His relationship is a positive one. They work together for a good cause. This would bring us to conclude and believe that he a good leader one would who is fair and kind. In any job to keep your workers they would a good work environment to be able to keep all those elves works over the centuries.

I think Santa Claus would have been a Hufflepuff. Yes, some say he works for one night a year, and that doesn't give the impression of a hard worker, but going all around the world in just one night is pretty impressive and takes a lot of effort, if you ask me. Furthermore, who does Santa give his presents to? Good kids, and that means he values kindness and a good heart, something Hufflepuffs are known for. Third and final proof, he gives presents to ALL good kids, with no distinctions. And who, among the founders of Hogwarts, accepted all children and treated them as equals? Helga Hufflepuff. So there you go, Santa would undoubtedly have been a Hufflepuff.

Santa Claus stands out as the quintessential Gryffindor. here's why: Bravery isn't just about the fight with dragons; that is, it is taking a stand for what has to be done, no matter the odds. Every year on Christmas Eve, he faces challenges that are terrifying: weather conditions that change by the minute, half the world in one single night, and billions of children waiting for joy-completely unrecognized and unrewarded. His unwavering courage to make the world better one gift at a time reflects the very heart of Gryffindor. But Santa's Gryffindor spirit isn't just about his daring deeds; it's his fiery determination to uphold justice. With his legendary Naughty or Nice list, he encourages kindness and fairness, traits that align perfectly with the lion's strong moral code. And let's not forget the bold Gryffindor flair-his signature red outfit? It's practically house colors! Santa is more than just a figure of festivity. He is a beacon of hope, courage, and heart. If the Sorting Hat sat upon his head, it would shout 'Gryffindor!' faster than you could say 'Accio sleigh!

Santa would HAVE to be Slytherin. I know , i know, hear me out. Lets look at magical law first, even for the most worthy causes, is it legally acceptable to reveal the magical world to a muggle? Hold onto that one, who is the most famous wizard in the muggle history books? Merlin right? They dont have to be EVIL, or have any sort of evil INTENT; a slytherin wizard is willing to do what they believe is right, (even if only for themselves) regardless of the rules. Santa is known to the muggle community for his christmas magic, if he were a wizard he would be breaking magical law.

I'm only 2 and a half minutes in and this vid is already repeating itself. So much time spent on Ariana? Why? Could have said everything needed in about 90 seconds. Can't take it. 12 minutes was enough.

I think Santa Claus would have been a Slytherin as I think that delivering gifts to all kids around the world is quite ambitious. The idea of stealthily delivering gifts to kids at night is cunning and sly to make sure he would not waste any time talking to them.
