España, comunidad autónoma de Castilla la Mancha, provincia de Albacete, comarca de la manchuela, municipio de Alcalá del Júcar, compuesto por este pueblo y las aldeas de Casas del Cerro, La gila, Las Eras y Zulema. Su iglesia es la de San Isidro labrador, construida desde 1716 hasta alguna parte del reinado de Carlos III. El actual colegio (12-Calle "Las Monjas")era antiguamente el cementerio, que ahora está en las afueras. El puente conocido como puente romano no es romano y su plaza de toros es única en el mundo por su forma ovalada. Sus fiestas son entre el 9 y el 15 de agosto en honor a San Lorenzo mártir, patrón del pueblo. Tiene unos cuantos miles de habitantes, y sí, de vez en cuando hay desprendimientos. Fuen fundada por los árabes en torno al siglo XII por los árabes, fue reconquidtada por los castellanos y pasó a formar parte de jorquera hasta que el 18 de abril de 1364 por orden del rey Pedro I el cruel fue independiente. Yo soy de Alcalá del Júcar, mi familia es de ahí, el sacerdote actual es Don Jovino. La foto de la miniatura no es de este pueblo. Hubo un anuncio de Nescafé en 1988 rodado en el pueblo donde mi padre ayudó a poner las luces.
