I have watched many documentaries regarding the alcatraz escapees but ur documentary described each and every point prominently and distinctly. In my opinion they must have succeeded in crossing the bay and someone from the alcatraz (may be any officer) must have helped them in arranging the boat. There is one question always arises in my mind that why did US marshall did not accept his request of one year imprisonment? If US marshal accepted his request, then marshal might have been able to discover the truth behind their escape but here US MARSHAL showed its negligency
