Official Translation] Tonight, my soul, Enslaved and worn by earthly sorrows, Will feel the need to escape this prison of flesh. Far away from us and from our time, It shall leave for the stars. They will speak to my soul about its existence In pure and silent words, They will show it the way To unknown havens Where heaven meets earth These faraway lands Where high grasses in amber fields Dance with the light, forevermore. Where all memories of our earthly lives May wander free Despite Time and its vengeful attempt To erase it all.

I have led a similar life so far, but the least I could say, is that I'm a bit proud of myself, despite the blunders I have made, I have come so far, yet so far to go. There's a fairness to the unfairness of life. But, what's in your hand, is to never truly give up, to keep getting up, no matter what.

@@pemcconnell Wow, you believe automatically what some random dude on Twitter said, like the news outlets? It isn't evident beyond reasonable doubt. It's always the same people who repeat that information, and that information is regurgitated again from an anonymous source.
@pemcconnell3 жыл бұрын
@@fungo6631 you didn't read the article then, huh?
@fungo66313 жыл бұрын
@@pemcconnell Yes I did. One new person emerged and that's some Wayne Beckett dude, who seems to have conveniently appeared after he posted on Kiwifarms and kind of embarrassed himself by saying he had a picture of his corpse. There's very little content related to the situation on the article, with most being filler talking about online harassment and trolling. I will give them the credit that they at least mentioned Twitter as well. But they did cherry pick one post where some mad at the internet dude said he wanted to dance on Byuu's corpse. While this post indeed is present, the problem is the article doesn't provide a screenshot of it. And let's not forget that no new information about the alleged suicide appeared, it's still "trust me bro". One would think his family would come out with their take on all this, which is what happened with that dolphin dev who commited suicide. And who's that anonymous source anyways? As you can see there are holes in the story. And the elephant in the room, his thread was barely active, having 13 pages, and turned out to be a personal army attempt from the OP who got ridiculed as well. He was also well known in the scene and involved in drama years before his Kiwifarms thread. Pretty sure that the people who DID harass him just used Kiwifarms as a scapegoat, were banned from Kiwifarms at some point, or had beef with some higher ups from Kiwifarms.

I just love how this video is filmed. We never really see the whole of something, or if we do it's through intense light filters. I kept craning my neck, trying to peek around it, trying to see everything...but couldn't. It was like a video of half-rememberings, dreams that seem real and then start to vanish the more you try to concentrate on them. And knowing the backstory of Alcest, I'm fairly certain this is the exact effect Neige wanted. Love everything about this!
@NoItDoesntChange9 жыл бұрын
Oh my God, you said almost everything that was on my mind! Half-rememberings of being in beautiful places of the astral plane, floating and soaring in ways the earthly human body can't. Not specific scenes, just flashes of the "voyages" of his soul :)

What's the backstory of Alcest?
@brennuvargr46389 ай бұрын
@@thenoobgamer816 When Neige was a child, he would find himself in another world, which he would refer to as a fairy land of sorts. These 'visions'/'transportations' began to disappear the older he grew, so he started Alcest as a way of preserving the memories he had of these experiences. Hence why 'Souvenirs d'un autre monde' is called what it is - the translation is 'memories from another world'. :)

Suicide is a selfish act. Those who commit suicide don't realize the pain and anguish that action leaves behind. It doesn't stop the pain and suffering, it let's it endure. Humans are connected beings. Your life reaches to others in ways you might not be able to realize. Life is always worth living. But choosing to live is beyond some people's ability. The ability to cope with what happens in life is a skill that some cannot learn on their own. Just accepting life for what it is and isn't is a huge challenge.
@hyperstargaming61503 жыл бұрын
@@_Zarrku You have no fucking idea what drives people to suicide. The pain they feel, the hopelessness left in them, the lack of a conscience. The inability to make the right decision. You don’t know shit. You should shut the fuck up if you know what’s good for you, because suicide is never an act out of the desire to satiate a greedy need. It’s a false pretense of escape that you can’t help but believe when everything grows worse and worse. Get the fuck out before you make it worse with your dumb bullshit.
