the scream around 4:30 really hits different. Neige (the singer) wrote this and a few other songs in a completely made up language, that uses random noises with no meaning at all. He did that because he said it was a way for him to sing without having to be restricted by the signification of words and sounds from a real language. When I first heard sapphire though, the scream hit extremely hard. It's so good It hits the pit of my stomach.

Such a great song & their 2019 album "Spiritual Instinct" is among the top 10 released this year so far, at least for me. They are French like Aephanemer, but been around much longer since year 2000.

This song is kind of apart from the rest of their typical songs, which are more complex in structure and about 6-8 min long, check out Ecailles de Lune!

Yeah u are right. He uses his vocals as an instrument. Bcz their genre is Shoegazing(mixture of dream pop with prog metal).And they are pioneers of this genre and pretty much commercialised Blackhaze(mixture of black metal with shoegaze) also. And then a band deafheaven made it more mainstream.

Hello!! OH RIGHT!!!😮😮😮..... You know☝️, I found Alcest couple of months ago and all this time I have been thinking that this is another band that I have found from your channel, BUT IT ISN'T AFTERALL😂😂.. I remember now that I was just watching new releases then😂 I was completely sure that you did a reaction of a song called "Protection" (which is great song and it would be good choise to do next if you want to listen some more😉).. I still haven't listen their music SO much because my life has been such a mess in these past few weeks and literally haven't have the time to check out those many, many promising bands that I have ran into😕!! What I have heard, they have this cool mystic sound in their music and that Protection is very haunting too and you just can't stop humming the melody in it after you listen the song!! The video is great too even it is very simple but for me it fits to the song completely😅... I'll leave the link in the end so hopefully you have time to check it out😊 This was also good song but maybe something that doesn't WOW me today!! Very cool instrumentation though and I like his voice and what also was great was that the singing got bigger towards the end and I also like the crowling🤘.. Perhaps not so METAL but they have very cool unique style!! If I remember correctly, they are from France, but sadly I have nothing else information about them because the same reason that I haven't listen new music either😬!!! YET☝️ But cool song and VERY nice to listen🤘🤘...
