Stephanie, Your journal is delightful! I loved that it tells a story and indeed provides knowledge as well as pleasure. Your touches of origami and Turkish paper folding are so intriguing. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me. I will be exploring more of your work. It's fascinating ❤

This is absolutely exquisite, Stephanie. Every page was an absolute treat. I would love to learn how to do the Persian map folding technique for the binding, and also, and especially, how to make that incredible unfolding box! I gasped when you pulled on the string! Thank you for sharing your incredible work. What a treasure it is.

Me, too! I tried to leave this same question on the Graphics Fairy website, but it's missing now. These are such important parts of the video that it's a shame not to have some direction on how it's done. It's a beautiful journal with lots of magical parts. I've searched for the pull string box without any luck. I think I've figured it out and seems simpler than it looks.

Beautiful job!!! I'd love to see how you did the folded piece on cover!! I love the little notes. It's AMAZING to me when I find ancient images & writings I can include in my journals. How difficult they did them all free hand. No computers back then!!! There's great stuff in Public Domain we can use free. And I love them. I like to put a description on them. When I use pieces of an old book or newspaper, etc., I stamp the corner with the date and country it came from. So that information is retained with the piece. And I usually cut out the picture notes to include so the descriptions are not lost. I love to research anything I'm working on. I think its very interesting!! Thx for sharing this wonderful journal and your clever ideas!!! Austin TX USA
