Another awesome video Allen! I like how you caught both Lake Shore Limited's and Vermonters! And that odd move at Palmer that will be gone in a little over a month

waldwickperson Thanks, Mike A! Currently, when the Vermonters transition from CSX to NECR and vice versa, the train crew have to throw two hand crossovers to get by. New England Central is not a large railroad, so upgrading the switches to dispatcher controlled would be a huge amount of resources. I certainly hope the Steaming Tender will continue to do well after the Vermonters transition to the more direct path. Hopefully in exchange, the time that was once allotted to the Vermonters CSX would run their trains. Usually between noon to about 4 PM CSX activity is dead.

I've noticed 1 major difference between the B&A and the RFP sub: they both require cab signals, but the B&A line usually has another GEVO or cab signalled engine trailing so it's not all bad as compared to the RFP sub

Yoshi the Railfanner B&A Line doesn't get as much of variety in terms of power if you compare that to say the Mohawk Sub, River Sub, or the Shared Asset area. Foreign power though have shown up on this line as of late. If you have seen the last video on the same line, Q012 had two UP's going through.

Great video. On future ones, wonder if you could allow the commentary a few more seconds before you take it off. Even using the pause button to read, I sometimes have to back up the video to see what you said. Keep them coming!!

Thanks! Nowadays if I had a longer description I would use 8 to 10 seconds instead of 6 seconds.
